| Our Pre-Kindergarten group consists of children who will attend Kindergarten in the Fall. We try to introduce the children to an atmosphere that is similar to a Kindergarten classroom. The children participate in circle time which includes marking the date on the calendar, reading stories, and discussing various topics. They are learning more about the letters of the alphabet such as how to print the letters and what sounds the different letters make. They are also learning to print numbers and are introduced to basic math principles such as adding and subtracting. The children also learn to print their names and recite their phone numbers, addresses, and birthdays. This group also has plenty of time for playing and making new friends! The Pre-Kindergarten group always end the school year with an exciting graduation ceremony! |
